World first clavicle operation uses Tecvac TiN

Ground breaking surgery to insert a titanium clavicle (collar bone) has used Tecvac Titanium Nitride Coating on the clavicle for bio-compatibility. The extra smooth coating deposited by electron beam is ideally suited to medical implants.
