Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) Coating introduced

Tecvac has recently added Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) to the range of coatings available. DLC is very hard at up to 4500 Hv, has a low coefficient of friction, does not conduct electricity and is virtually inert. The coating has found use in medical implants, anti wear applications including gears, cams and piston pins as well as cutting and forming tools.
